BRPC - Operator at Mustang Field
  • Founded in 2005 and based in Anchorage, BRPC is a leading independent operator focused on exploring for oil and gas assets in the ANS region
  • Responsible for managing the planned development of Mustang including drilling and production facility construction
  • Operates 61,764 acres in the Western, Central and Eastern sections in ANS, with strategic locations adjacent to giant Prudhoe Bay and Kuparuk fields
  • Estimated discovered reserves and resource of up to 490 mm bbl based on seismic and well log data

Bart Armfield
  • Currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of BRPC
  • Brings over 30 years of hands-on field leadership experience to BRPC
  • Experience includes exploration and development drilling support, field development, processing, and fabrication and installation of facilities
  • His North Slope knowledge includes project management, road and pad construction and infrastructure construction and maintenance
  • Had experience in managing facility and operational staffing across field operations and production of 50,000 bopd
 
 Tom Haberman - CFO
  • Currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of BRPC since 2008
  • Manages all accounting and finance functions including working capital, tax and banking and insurance relationships
  • Previously served as Senior Accounting Manager at Mikunda Cottrel Accounting and Consulting and Controller at Arctic Builders Source
 
Larry Vendl
  • Currently serves as VP of Exploration of BRPC
  • Brings over 33 years of experience in the petroleum industry, with over 25 years in Alaska
  • Career includes E&P projects in the Gulf of Mexico, the US Mid-Continent and the Rocky Mountain Basins
  • Experience includes planning and drilling hundreds of wells across the North Slope from national Petroleum Reserve-Alaska ("NPRA"), Prudhoe Bay and its satellite fields, east to the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge ("ANWR") border
  • Key participant for > 10 years in development of the BP operated Milne Point Project
 
Larry Smith
  • Currently serves as Chief Geophysicist of BRPC since 2005
  • Has 30 years of experience in exploration geophysics and spent 16 of those years on international new venture projects for Unocal to enter into new countries
  • Spent 5 years in Cook Inlet Basin, Alaska and successfully rebuilt Unocal's Alaska seismic database
  • Previously worked as a consultant for Petro Technical Resources of Alaska's independent operator clients on the ANS
